Wrapping Up Your Cookie Program
Here are some deadlines to remember as we reach the close of the cookie program - for more information, keep reading this Shout Out!
- Be sure to complete all Transfers in Snap to ensure your inventory is correct.
- The final ACH sweep is on March 25, for 100 percent of the remaining balance.
- Recognition Orders are due by March 21. Be sure to follow the process outlined in the Snap Guide to ensure that girls receive what they earned.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Returns from approved booth sales in Snap held from March 13 - March 16 must be brought back to your Cookie Cupboard on Monday, March 17 or Tuesday, March 18 only.

Recognition Orders
Recognitions Orders are due by 11:59 p.m. on March 21. Our Snap Guide will walk you through the process, but here are a few tips to help you out:
- Prior to creating the recognitions order, collect recognition requests from girls and complete all Troop-to-Girl Transfers in Snap.
- Run the Girl Cookie Totals Summary Report in Snap to see current credit given to girls for cookies sales. This report will show each girl’s Cookie Share, cookies sold, and final sale total. Recognitions Orders will populate based on these totals.
- Create your troop’s main Recognitions Order in Snap. If you do not create this order, no patches or recognitions will be ordered for your troop.
Please note: Girls with a Girl/Parent Shortage Forms on file will not receive her recognitions until the balance is resolved.

Last ACH Sweep
The final ACH Sweep is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25. This will be for 100% of your troop’s remaining balance. An email with your troop’s balance owed will be sent from our Finance Department on Wednesday, March 19 by the end of the business day. please make sure to follow these steps:
- Complete all Troop-to-Girl and Troop-to-Troop Transfers in Snap by March 19.
- Submit all ACH Adjustment Forms and Girl Shortage Forms by Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. to finance@gsiowa.org. For faster processing, please use the email subject line “ACH Adjustment Form.†Any forms received after this date will not be processed in time to change the amount being swept.
If you’d like to view the balance you owe, you can see it in Snap under: Reports > Summary Reports> Troop Balance Summary. Please note: this balance will change any time a Troop-to-Troop Transfer is done. For more information, check out our tips on Money Management and ACH information.
