Weather
I think we've seen almost every season this week! Some snow, lots of wind and today - 70 degrees! I'm ready for the warmer weather but we have certainly enjoyed the moisture and are hoping for more this spring.
Website update
After Kurt's big delivery run this week, I've had to update our price list a little. We're out of several items now. The only steaks we have in stock right now are t-bones. We are currently out of sirloin, KC strips, ribeyes and stew meat. That also means we can't do grilling samplers, country comfort samplers and bundles. However, if you or someone you know is interested in a bundle, we can figure out some type of substitutions and put together a nice bundle of meat.
Time
I don't know about you but I am not a huge fan of the time change. While I like having a little more light in the evenings come summer time, I'm just not sure it's worth the adjustment period it takes for me to make the change. MY idea will never fly but what if we took a week to make the change adjusting our clocks 10 minutes every day. We'd hardly know it happened. Just me thinking outside the box a little.
Spring Break
What are your plans for spring break (those of you with kids in school)? We are looking forward to a whole week of NOTHING! Ok, not really nothing but nothing on the schedule. I have a list of cleaning to be done but we don't have to go anywhere! To kick off the week of relaxation, Kurt and I are headed to Newton for a couple days. You may be thinking "what on earth is Newton." Let me tell you. The Big Rural Brainstorm! I went two years ago and really enjoyed it so Kurt and I are going back this year. We're going the night before so we don't have to leave at 6 and get to stay here.
Kansas Rural Center
Kurt and I are every excited that we have been invited to serve on the board of the Kansas Rural Center. Looking forward to this opportunity!
Kidding
Allison just came in this afternoon and announced that her doe is probably in labor. We should have some exciting news by next week.
Recipe Share
