Use Acupuncture for Prevention, Maintenance and well being

I know I speak for a lot of families out there when I say that these last few months were crazy with sicknesses. In our family alone, we had Strep, the Norovirus, the cold a couple of times and then the H1N1 flu virus. Being sick was not fun, and personally, I felt like it took me 10 steps backwards in life. I had no energy to do anything. I realized that even when I preach Acupuncture and believe in what it does, I was not using it to my benefit, especially for prevention, maintenance and general well being.

Now that I am all better, I am now using Acupuncture and Chinese medicine to increase my energy and vitality. Before I got so busy with family, work, and the holidays, I used Acupuncture on a monthly basis, and when I got sick, I would get better fast and bounce right back to normalcy.  Instead of blaming my busy schedule, I have taken a step forward to take charge of my health. I have made a monthly appointment with my Acupuncturist to maintain my well being and to help prevent me from getting sick often. As a wife, mother and business owner, many people depend on me and I can therefore not afford to be sick or rather, sick for long. Even when I am sick, I still need the energy to perform my duties in whatever capacity I am in. I can testify that since I started getting the acupuncture again (about 6 weeks ago), I was able to take care of my family when they all got the flu virus. I was lucky enough not to get it and I feel rather energetic about life right now.

I challenge you today to make your monthly Acupuncture visits and hold yourself accountable for feeling better. If The Qi Spot is not your primary Acupuncture provider, then schedule one with your primary provider.

Please Note: You can make your own appointments on our online calendar up to a year. You get an email reminder 48 hours before your appointment and you can reschedule your appointments any time.

Life is too short to live with pain and discomfort that you have a solution for. Let us help you get better.

A word of advice about the "Year of the Horse"

2014 is the Year of the Horse. What that means is there is a lot of 'horsepower' or energy available to us. It is a great time to stay positive and work on things we may have thought we haven't had time to work on in the past. It is also a good time to work on our own health and wellness. Use the energy to positively grow in all aspects of your life. If you don't focus the energy in a positive way, this overflow of energy can make your year seem like an 'anxious' one. Don't waste the energy in this "Year of the Horse". Get out there and make things happen!
