CPS Continuing Education awards Course Development Grants
Tracy Hoefer, C.R. Marshall and Scott Wallace (SBE) each received grants to redesign three courses to online formats so they can be made available to non-traditional audiences. Demand for these courses is expected from students enrolled in our Business at Night, and Business at UWMC programs. The courses to be redesigned are International Economics, Principles of Production-Operations Management, and Business and Government.
Kristi Roth (PEAT) received funding to redesign our Advanced Assessment in Adapted Physical Education course to a hybrid format. As a hybrid, this course will be made available to teachers from throughout the state of Wisconsin who wish to attain the Wisconsin Adapted Physical Education Certification.
Since 2004, CPS has awarded more than $420,000 to faculty for the purpose of innovating courses and creating new programs. To be successful, CPS Continuing Education grants must be innovative, partnership driven and meet a clear need.
