Snack Idea

A snack that I enjoy is a homemade trail mix that I make with the allowable nuts and seeds. I like to mix my favorite nuts, seeds, dried fruits and I mix in the Salted Roasted Chickpeas (page 120).

If you have a dehydrator you can slice up some apples, pears, frozen cherries, carrots, etc. and then add dried fruit and veggies to the mix, making it even more tasty!
