We Read!
A Celebration of Books and Community
In celebration of Orrville's Sesquicentennial, National Library Week from April 13-19 and our love of reading, we are gathering 150 of YOUR favorite family titles. Once our collection is complete, we will post an album with photos of your family and friends holding their "We Read" recommendations! Each family who submits a title and has a photo taken will receive a We Read window cling and a complete list of the compiled recommendations. Our appreciation goes to the Rotary Club of Orrville and the Orrville Public Library Friends for supporting this program!

Castle Fest
Thursday, April 3, 2:00 pm
All children in grades K-4 are invited to our Castle Fest! Join us for some medieval spring break fun and games. You can create your family crest, make a knight's helmet or stained glass art, even build on our castle with plastic bricks. Please register by calling 330-683-1065.

Cookbook Club
Thursday, April 10, 6:00 pm
If your favorite part of traveling is trying the different foods in the area you are visiting, then this is the cookbook for you! Our Cookbook Club will feature Taste of Home's Recipes Across America. Call us at 330-683-1065 to register and request a copy of the cookbook, or place your hold in the catalog.

Friends Spring Used Book Sale

The bi-annual used book sale is coming right up! Not only will we have books for all ages, but music, movies, audiobooks and more. Stop by and see what treasures and bargains you can find!

Page Parade
April 11-25
Bring your family and follow the book trail through the library with OPL’s Page Parade! Each page of a favorite picture book will be at a different station all through the library. The trail ends in the Children's Department with the opportunity to hunt for a treat in the story time room. This spring’s book will be Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Beginning April 11, the Page Parade will be available all hours that the library is open. Celebrate spring with this family activity and join the Page Parade!

Wiggles and Rhymes
beginning April 25
Registration is now open for two sessions of a special 3-week story time for children ages 3, 4 and 5 filled with movement, rhythm, stories and songs. Find out more details using our online calendar and call 330-683-1065 to register.

Mother's Day Story Time
April 30 and May 1
