Agricultural Competitiveness

It’s time to think big about Australian agriculture

Now is the time for those interested in agriculture to have their say on how Australia can build a sector that grows and delivers a greater return to our nation and the farm gate.

“Whether you’re drenching sheep, mustering cattle or sitting on a tractor, you always had in the back of your mind what you would do to make the show work better – well this is your opportunity to do precisely that.” Minister Joyce said.

Minister Joyce’s’ taskforce will be visiting Geraldton on the 21 March to hear Submissions, people will need to make an appointment.  Or written submissions are due by 5pm EST 17 April 2014.  The towns and regional centres the taskforce will visit are available on the website.

If you would like to meet with the Taskforce to represent Chapman Valley, email the Shire as a joint meeting may be organised.
