Lakewood Ladies will be at the home of Nina Koch at 7118 Coronado Ave. on Thursday, March 20 at 7 p.m. We are inviting all women in the 'hood to attend our monthly evening event. No need to RSVP, just come out and join other ladies from the neighborhood for a night of fun. We ask that you bring a snack or bottle of wine to share.

Movie on the Lawn

With the warmer weather comes Movie on the Lawn. Everyone in the neighborhood is welcome to attend! We will be showing, “Frozen.” Walk, drive and stroll down to 7239 Coronado Ave., on Saturday, March 29th at sunset approximately 7:44 p.m. to enjoy the show.

The Front Porch Social- March 21

Our first Front Porch Social will be held on Friday, March 21st, from 6:30 to around 8:30 p.m. Sam Stidham and Don Hatfield will be hosting, 7115 Coronado, and if it’s not too chilly, we’ll be hanging out in their backyard. Please bring an appetizer and drinks to share. Book your babysitters in advance, this is an adults only get together.

If you like working with numbers and have basic accounting skills, including balancing a check book, depositing and writing checks, you'd be perfect for the job! The reason for our soaring property values is Lakewood Elementary, located a mile and a half to the north. While it’s old, dilapidated, and overcrowded, it has a stellar reputation compared to DISD and non-DISD schools alike.
