Some of the students taking part in Irwin Park’s Winter Sports programs were featured on CTV national news last month for a story by Melanie Nagy. The students were involved in skating at the West Vancouver Community Centre and skiing up at Cypress Mountain.

Theatre 45 to instill a passion for performance
Playbuilding, a pilot program being offered to students in Grades 4-7 at Hollyburn, Irwin Park and Ridgeview elementary schools is currently taking registration, but filling up quickly. Taught by a graduate of Studio 58 with long experience as part of Vancouver's vibrant theatre scene, students will have the opportunity to develop creativity, focus, teamwork and leadership skills April 2-May 7 after school.
