Cookie Sale Extended

We are serious about girls reaching their cookie goals. So, due to the inclement weather conditions in the Amarillo and Lubbock areas, we have extended the Cookie Sale until March 23.

Here are some helpful hints for extending your sale:

• Girls could go to businesses to sell Project Troop to Troop cookies
• Canvas your neighborhood for cookie sales (People LOVE a Girl Scout ringing their doorbell. Seriously, we get asked about this all the time!)
• Or “think outside of the box” to find interesting booth locations like a community event or a college campus.  

Has your troop reached their goal? We know lots of girls have plans for the funds they raise in the cookie sale. Girls may be trying to reach a set number of packages in order to go to camp. They may want to do things like community service projects, trips, or fun programs. Other things troops can do with their cookie money: purchase new journey books, purchase uniforms, or even early bird registration so they’re sure all their friends will continue in Girl Scouting next year.
