Innovation Showcased at HIMSS14

Digital Health entrepreneurs shined at HIMSS this week! We’re excited to announce that StartUp Health company Respond Well was honored with a Microsoft Health Users Group Innovation Award in Patient Engagement for their work with Genesis Rehab Services. Together, the two companies created a fall prevention and rehab program that allows therapists to monitor patients with a Microsoft Kinect for Windows sensor. Respond Well was also featured with fellow StartUp Health companies @Point of Care360 and Yingo Yango during the Venture+ Forum.

Everyday Health files for $115M IPO

Health and fitness content site Everyday Health filed for an IPO worth up to $115M this week. 2014 continues to be a transformative year for digital health, and we can’t wait to see what happens next!

AHA Crowdfunds for Innovation

The American Heart Association (AHA) will be using crowdfunding to determine the winners of their first Open Innovation Challenge at the Health Sciences Innovation and Investment Forum!
