On April 1, the media sometimes publish stories that we just can't believe...until we remember, it's April Fool's Day!
On this day, in 1993, my father telephoned me.... My father never called because back then long-distance telephone calls cost money. "Brenda, I'm calling to let you know, Ma died." I didn't believe him and we went back and forth. "You're kidding, right?" "No, I wish I were."
That was 21 years ago and it's time to let go of the anniversary of my mother's passing and let in the release of my co-author and my new book, STUFFology 101: Get Your Mind Out of the Clutter. It's tough replacing one milestone with another, yet the release of STUFFology 101 on April 1, serves as a memorable tribute to my mother--co-architect, with my father, of who I've become, today.
