Feed Seniors Now

SWU’s North Augusta learning center is working again with the Feed Seniors NOW Initiative in Augusta. Last year, they were able to partner with a local food bank to get donations for needy seniors in the Augusta area. If a prospective student donates a nonperishable food item, SWU will waive their application fee. For details, download this flyer or contact Jason Norton at ext. 5646 or email jnorton@swu.edu

Play Ball!

This Wednesday, March 5, SWU will meet Anderson University's Trojans at Greenville’s Fluor Field. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. SWU Baseball alumni are being invited, and all SWU alumni and friends are urged to fill the stands in SWU blue. Tickets can be purchased through the Greenville Drive. Click here to be taken to the online ticket office.
SWU students are inviting their grandparents and special guests to visit the Central campus for a memorable, activity-filled day. Grandparents Day, planned for March 21, will be a time for making family connections while getting a taste of campus life, sharing meals with grandchildren, touring the historic campus and taking in a ballgame or a musical show. There will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy free time together and several activity choices on that day. Read more>>

Good to go

The SWU Track and Soccer Complex is open and ready for use! As the weather improves and we start to feel like exercising, we want to invite you to use the complex. As you might expect, our men’s and women’s track teams have been using the facility to train and prepare for their season and competitions. We are currently working on a sign, which will be posted at the Wesleyan Drive entrance to the track, so that you will know when the track is open for community use or closed due to track practice/competition or soccer practice/competition. We close the area during practices to protect the community users from injury.

We ask that all cars enter the complex on the gravel entrance off of Wesleyan Drive and leave cars parked in the pull-off/parking area just south of the barrier gate. Access to the track is from the unlocked gate found near the finish line of the track (gate closest to the storage building).

Please enjoy this complex and the spring weather and the help us spread the word in the community.

As a result, we are pleased to announce the following appointments: effective March 1, Barbara Specter (Columbia learning center) and Brice Bickel (Greenville learning center) will move into new roles as interim regional directors for their respective locations. Each will provide leadership for SWU’s AGS enrollment efforts at the regional learning centers and will provide supervision for the Admissions Coordinators.
