Approximately 15,000 newly admitted freshmen and guest are coming to Westwood and UCLA for one more final tour of the campus that will help to make their decision - whether to attend UCLA this fall. Website Relaunch
The Westwood Village Improvement Association is excited to announce the launch of our newly designed website, which went live today and is located at the new web address: www.TheWestwoodVillage.com. This project has been in the works for about 2 months, and we’re incredibly excited to finally flip the switch and reveal it to the world!
Our goal for the redesign was to stay current with the ever changing World Wide Web, to stay competitive, and to catch the eyes of visitors, locals, business owners, and first time users. We feel that it does all of this and more! The site’s home page welcomes visitors with bold colors, a clean, uncluttered design, and moving images with featured content focused on our mission to provide the Westwood Village community and visitors with up to date information.
So. What’s new?
- It’s much easier to find what is going on in Westwood Village. Right on the home page, you can click to view upcoming events, see the latest Board and committee agendas or check the twitter feed.
- Promote your events & specials: Our new website gives businesses the opportunity to easily submit their business specials, promotions, sales or events, just by filling out an online form.
- Looking for the location of a particular business? Each listing in our business directory has an interactive Google Map display.
- Not sure where to find something? The top of each page has a search box that searches our website.
- Working Here: this section is a place for local businesses to locate useful information and resources.
