UWSP was represented by family & consumer science education students at the Wisconsin Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (WAFCS) and Wisconsin Council on Family Relations (WICFR) meetings in Warrens, Wis. Design Charrette takes on Children's Museum project
On Friday, April 4, interior architecture students completed a whirlwind eight-hour design charrette by generating design remodeling concepts for one of the exhibits located in the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum (CWCM) in downtown Stevens Point. Students worked in groups to create design concepts for a redesign of the farm and sustainable house area of the museum. View Photos

UWSP health science and health promotion/wellness students conducted a skills course challenge at the Ben Franklin Junior High Wellness Fair last week. Dan Malcheski '15, Justin Pilger '14 and Jillian Mann '14 timed students on a drill involving balance, agility, power, coordination and speed while also providing information on adolescent health. Students capture athletic training quiz bowl title
With wins at the state and district level, three students from UW-Stevens Point will represent the Great Lakes region at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association convention (NATA) in Indianapolis this June.
