Hola Gorks!

It has been awhile, mostly because the only thing really going on is the same as last, editing my Bootcamp Project - Galens Gamble.

The editing is pulling teeth and turned out to be the true grind of the project. I decided to put almost anything else on the backburner until it was finished, which is why not much else is going on. In hindsight that might not have been the best of ideas, but i thought i could get the editing over faster that way.... critical miss! Serious leg injury, been limping on since ;)

Bootcamp - Galens Gamble

I have an ongoing blog posting about my experiences with the Bootcamp project and a page where i collect my thoughts and process. You can read the last post here: http://www.oneclick.tinygork.com/2014/02/12/bootcamp-6/
The bootcamp page is found at this link: http://www.oneclick.tinygork.com/bootcamp/

Bootcamp feedback

I still need to hear some feedback on my draft, so feel free to read the current draft or even playtest it and write back to me. As a thank you for playtesting you will get the final product for free! Write to me at publish@tinygork.com about getting a copy for reading/testing put "Galens Gamble" in the subject field for easy sorting.

Progress

I have 3 chapters left to edit, then the NPCs and then there is the maps i want to create as well as the overivew flowchart. So im getting there... slowly.

Essential Shadow Council

Last month saw the second release in my mini series "Essential Shadow Council Origins". Which makes the 3rd finished product from Tiny Gork so far, yay! While all three books are FreeG's (freegorks aka freebies) they still taught me some of the process of setting up the text, cover, credits, table of content etc..

I have one or two more Essentials up my sleeve before the Shadow Council story setting is finished and ready for release.

The Blog

I am hosting my blog on one.com and their 1click setup of wordpress is very limited and restrictive. So there are some things that are nice to have that im still missing out on. I am hoping this will change in the future because right now i dont have the energy it takes to do a full manual install and move things to that one :)

I started working on a database for my future products, I want to host my products and offer payment through paypal. But for now i will host the freebies and have the priced ones on Drivethru and such.

In Private

Last month i took a day off from work to surprise my girlfriend on our 10 months day. Made her breakfast and took her to a massage and dinner at a harbour resturant. It was all a nice get a way from reality for a day.

Some of my time has also been stolen by the new game Titanfall, i'm loving it ;)

And I have been running around Faerun in Neverwinter along side my girlfriend as well. She quite surprised me in December when she created a character and started levelling, now she has max lvl and is duking it out in player vs player.

I'll have to admit between the tuff grind of editing and the joy of computergames, i have spent too much time on computergames and not enough on TinyGork. But i still get in half an hour here and there so i haven't come to a complete halt which is comforting. I still have thoughts and ideas, so Tinygork isn't going to vanish into oblivion.

I have also been participating and hosting a small monthly competition, called the Warlocks Journal. Each month a new site hosts the contest and comes up with an RPG related creation you have to do to enter. Marchs month is monster creation and is now ended for entering but open for voting http://warlockssanctum.blogspot.ca/2014/03/entries-for-marchs-warlocks-journal.html

That's all for now,
Gork ya later!
