Housing Search Workshops

We know that affordable housing is one of the most pressing needs of many in the disability community. In addition to one-on-one skills training, BCIL staff members also offer a twice-monthly Housing Search Workshop. This workshop is open to anyone, with no registration necessary.

When: Usually the first and third Wednesday of each month, always 10:00 a.m. - noon. However, April and August this year have a different schedule due to conflicts. Here are the upcoming workshop dates:

April 1 and 16
May 7 and 21
June 4 and 18
July 2 and 16
August 6 and 27
September 3 and 17
October 1 and 15
November 5 and 19
December 3 and 17

Where: BCIL conference room, 60 Temple Place, 5th floor, Boston, MA 02111

What: Learn how to search for affordable housing. Topics include describing definitions and priorities, distributing general applications and resources, and discussing communication with housing authorities.

If you have any questions or need reasonable accommodations, please contact Andrew Forman at aforman@bostoncil.org or 617-338-6665.
