It was truly a joy and honor to participate in the Fremont Council PTA Founders Day celebration yesterday at which over 100 parents and community members were honored for their dedication and services to the Fremont schools and students. As President Ujjwala Gadgil said:

"These individuals and organizations work tirelessly to educate and to improve our community by creating opportunities for learning and growth. They are champions of advocacy; they are visionaries; they are leaders of our community."

|
The beauty of yesterday's event was not only shown in how warmly the recognition was given to the honorees, but also in how encouraging the Founders Day Committee, Fremont Council PTA Officers and Chairpersons, Fremont School Board, Superintendent, Administrators, Teacher's Union President, Teachers and Staff were in supporting the parent and community volunteers.
Together, we serve to build up the FUSD schools for the good of all of our students!
