The Atlanta Rollergirls are Derby Stronger than ever their tenth year, and the home teams have begun the season with some awesome skills. Don't miss the March bouts- first the Sake Tuyas face the Denim Demons, and then you'll really see what the buzz is all about when ARG welcomes spring by bringing the 2014 Rumble Bs to the track!
The Denim Demons vs. The Sake Tuyas
The most recent bout between the darkness and the ninjas ended in favor of the Demons with a score of 246-70. Since then, the Sake Tuyas have lost a few valuable ninjas (ninjae?), but they've also gained five new rollergirls. In addition to rookies Whoa Nellie and The Antagonist and transfer Hella Blitzgerald, former Apocalypstix Feral Brady and Elle Beaux have replaced their pink jerseys with Sake red. The Denim Demons have also added new skaters to their lineup---transfer Rosie Derivator has entered the darkness, along with Blitzkrieg and Jumbo Shrimp. In February, the Sakes secured a victory against the Stix, while the Demons were defeated by the Shocks. Will the roster changes and the new year put the odds in favor of the darkness or of the ninjas?

The Rumble Bs vs. Nashville Rollergirls' Music City Brawl Stars
Atlanta's All-Stars-In-Training, the Rumble Bs, take on the ladies of the Nashville Rollergirls' Music City Brawl Stars in the second bout of the evening. New transfer, The Boss, joins the jamming ranks, along with Fullatrix Lestrange, Nora Gretz, and Hate Ashbury. Several Apocalypstix skaters, including Genie in a Battle and Totalitiffian, have grown stingers (and muscles) this year, and are also joining the hive. Every skater in the new lineup has all-star potential, but are they ready to bring the sting?
You may notice the Rumble Bs and Jukes of Hazzard in different colors this season---RED! We streamlined our uniforms so all our interleague teams can easily be identified as Atlanta teams. The red and light blue you see on the Dirty South Derby Girls strikes fear in the hearts of skaters all over the country, and we’re just expanding the reign of terror to include all our interleague competitors.
Your Mom is an Atlanta Rollergirl
In addition to being superheroes on the track, some of our rollergirls are supermoms! Our kids have grown up with roller derby as part of their lives. They often get a backstage pass to practices and bouts. Many of our daughters even play for the Atlanta Derby Brats. With this inside knowledge, our kids have a lot to say about roller derby and their amazing moms.
