Update from our Executive Director

There is a classic worship song in Honduras called “Tu Fidelidad Es Grande.” Everyone in Honduras knows it, from the oldest gentleman at the home for the elderly, the poorest children in Los Bordos, or even the men and women who live on the streets. It is a powerful song. It’s even more powerful when you see the poorest of the poor crying out to God with all their heart a song that speaks to the faithfulness of God. They see Him as a Rescuer and a Savior. Its words are simple. Read more

Cris Lopez, Director of Honduras

Cristian Josue Lopez Ayala joined Sparrow Missions in January of 2013 as our Director of Honduras Operations. Cris, 22, is a servant and has been very instrumental in the growth of our Bordos and other ministries. We are extremely blessed to have him on our team and wanted each of you to learn more about this tremendous young man! Read more

A New School Year Begins!

Sponsor a Sparrow is a program that provides educational needs to children living in Los Bordos. Started in May 2012, the program is designed to partner with Los Bordos families who may not have the resources but desire for their children to attend school. The year 2014 has started quickly, and there are several exciting updates. Read more
