Health geeks snag the spotlight at SXSW

From taking home top honors in startup competitions to packing exhibition halls for keynote speeches, digital health entrepreneurs generated a ton of buzz at this year’s SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin. We were excited to partner with Google for our third annual Social Health Bootcamp and we joined Pulse + Signal founder Andre Blackman, Dr. Ivor Horn from the Children's National Medical Center, Damon Davis from the Dept. of Health and Human Services and other great health leaders for a workshop on bringing better care to underserved communities. Each day, dozens of panels and events covered wearables, data control, and privacy, among other emerging topics in health and wellness.
