Art Fairs:
14-23 March: TEFAF time! It is not per se about contemporary art but remains probably one of the best places to see many, many amazing pieces, from antiquity to modern artworks.
26-20 March: Drawing Now Paris. A thematic fair, perfect to discover drawings form the past 50 years and ideal for new collectors too.
27-30 March: Art Paris. One of our favourite fairs, at the Grand Palais. China will be the guest of honour this year.
25-27 April: Art Brussels. A great selection of emerging and established contemporary art galleries.

05 March onwards: don't miss Bill Viola, one of the most influential video artists, at the Grand Palais!
26 March onwards: Robert Mapplethorpe at the Grand Palais. More than 200 pictures will be shown and encompass his brilliant yet short career.

A few years ago, while wandering in the alleys of another art fair, large and intriguing monochromes catch my eyes. Looking at them closer, I am struck by their texture: slightly rough, a little bit leather-like too, earthy even. They also have a dynamic feeling but how and why? This how I meet amazing galerie Jerome Poggi, drawn to them by the work of Kees Visser...
