london live in new york
Hi <<first name>>
On the 4th of September—less than three weeks from now—the album is out and the party is on! It's a summer release and a fabulous summer release party to match. Yes, the 4th of September is still officially summer!

This post-beat urban contemporary jazz release is my second album following my 2010 debut,
Poured Gently. Recorded live in London at Kings Place and Pizza Express Jazz Club,
London Live captures my Black Sessions project.
Always a quandary, what to do after one’s debut album. Do you continue in the same direction or do you look for an entirely different sound? I opted for the latter as this seemed the most natural path; allowing growth in every direction. It has been an amazing four-year journey and I am really pleased with this destination, which I now look forward to sharing with you.
Joining me for an acoustic set during the evening on the 4th will be
Pete Donovan on double bass and
Bashiri Johnson on percussion.
