Big Thank-you's Are in Order
New Audio-Visual Equipment
Thanks to a grant from Mascoma Savings Bank Foundation the WCA now has a state-of-the-art projector and screen (see below) that can be used for business meetings, showing movies (even 3-D), and other visual programs.
Window Coverings
A special thank you goes to Sage Scott of Sage's Interiors for installing the new window coverings in the WCA function room and providing a very generous discount. Other supporters of this project include the A.B. Cross Fund, the Wilmot Historical Society, Lindy Heim, Judy Hauck, and Pam Ilg. As you can see in the photo below, the room looks great and the blinds are very effective. Thank you one and all.
Press Release 101
Held on March 29 at the WCA, this mini-course was a rousing success thanks to communication experts Ann Davis and Kimberly Slover. Several non-profit representatives emerged from the session with a press release ready to submit to a local newspaper.
