COUNTDOWN TO EASTER
http://www.shauna-lynn.blogspot.com/2012/03/seeing-as-easter-is-just-around-corner.html
Click here for some great ideas to share with your kids as we head into the Easter season. Each week in KidZChurCh we will be talking about a different segment of the Easter story, but there is just so much there we can never cover it all in one month. Why not have some fun, redeem the time and make April a great month of Easter celebration in your home!!! I'd love to see what you've done or hear about what you do to make Jesus' resurrection an important part of your family's Easter celebrations!

KidZChoiR will be singing at the 10:15 service on Easter Sunday morning, April 20. Practices will be Wednesday, April 16 at 5:30 before KidZRocK and Saturday, April 19 at a time still to be determined. If your child would like to sing with our choir, but hasn't signed up to do so yet, just let Ms Dawn or Julie Boyer know, so we can get them a copy of the song we will be singing that day!

SEVEN HABITS OF UNHAPPY KIDS

I read a good post recently about unhappy kids. This article addresses seven causes of unhappiness in kids allowing us a chance to check ourselves and our families to see if any of these things may be happening in our homes and giving us the opportunity to correct them while kids are young. Just click the link below to read the post in it's entirety.

Last week, Doug Campbell joined us at KidZRocK for a super cool set of object lessons using balloons to teach us about the armor of God. This week we will be centering in on the belt of truth.

Each week through the end of the KidZRocK season (May 14), we will be looking specifically at a different piece of God's armor. Tonight we are studying the belt of truth. Truth keeps us grounded, helps us be prepared for the lies of the devil, and is the first line of defense in the standing strong.

KidZRocK is a great outreach to the kids in our communities, so be sure to have your kids invite their friends to come and learn about our best friend, Jesus, each Wednesday at KidZRocK.

NTCC's 3rd session of the Foundations Class is on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. Foundations teaches the "foundations" of what we believe at NTCC and what it means to be a follower of Christ. If you have ever wondered about what we believe at NTCC or wanted to know more about growing in your walk with Jesus, you are invited to attend this class while your children are at KidZRocK. Foundations will meet in last classroom on the left.

We hope you are planning to make EASTER AT HILTON ROAD part of your Resurrection Celebration this year. Easter services will be held April 20, at 8am and 10:15 am, with a pancake breakfast to be held in between services at 9am in the gym. There will be no elementary children's programming at 8am--nursery and preschool only. At 10:15, HiSKidZ will check in at kidcheck, and then sit with their parents until dismissed to KidZChurch (right after KidZChoir sings at the beginning of the service). Elementary students need to be picked up after church in the MPB.

Wow! We had a great Family Sunday Experience last week! There was such a great enthusiasm in the air as we worshiped and served together. HiSKidZ did a fabulous job helping to lead the songs and our former HiSKidZ were great reading Scripture. Martin Dix quoted I Corinthians 13 and our high schoolers finished off the morning by serving up some delicious tacos in a bag raising funds for their upcoming mission trip to Moore, Oklahoma. Our next Family Sunday will be June 29. Family Sundays take place each 5th Sunday as a way for HiSKidZ to grow in their walk with God as they serve and worship with the whole family of God at NTCC.

Our What's in the Bible class meets each Sunday morning at 9am for children K-6th grade! We are currently beginning the book of Acts. We have a great time each Sunday morning learning about what's in the New Testament, what that means to our lives, and how we can share that with others.
