Dear Friend,
I don't know about you, but I am shocked how quickly time passes. So each day, week and month I spend a little time reflecting on the notable details of my life. Otherwise I fear I'd miss it all in a whirlwind of daily life.
Do you have a reflection practice - daily or otherwise? I'd love to hear how you keep track of the ordinary magic in your life - please send me a message.

With lots of self-kindness and love,

Tami  xox

PS - If something in this (or any post) resonates with you and you think someone you know might like it too, please forward it to a friend.

For the last few months I have been doing these reflection posts after being inspired by Rosie's. Taking time each month to reflect on the good things that happen each day/week/month has done wonders for my ability to actually stop and notice the good stuff.

10 things march

Ten Things I Loved In March

Things I/We Did

1.     Expanded our Family Success Team. Turns out it does take a village to raise a kid and when the closest family lives 70+ miles away, you have to get yourself an energetic teenager on your team. Woohoo! So excited.

2.     Celebrated my birthday. Toddlers bowling might just be the actual best thing. Ever.

3.      Binged on House of Cards Season 2. If it's wrong, I don't want to be right.

4.      The Healthy Happy Sane Teacher is back! We've been working all month to make it a home study program so people can get started right away and work at their own pace. To celebrate helping teachers take control of their time and their lives, I dove back into all the healthy, happy and sane practices myself and definitely felt healthier, happier and more sane. It works! {click the link to get updates on our upcoming launch!}

5.     Accountability Partner FTW! I am pretty self-motivated and goal orientated, but I do seriously struggle in a few areas of my life. I recently heard about the idea of an accountability partner - someone you share your weekly goals with in troublesome areas of your life - and they check in with you to see if you have completed what you said you wanted to do and if not how they can help you get it done. WHOA. Massive progress on months long stalled projects.

Products and Services I Dug:

6.  IKEA milk frother.  I am not a coffee drinker and I'm highly susceptible to caffeine and I spend a fair amount of time working in cafes, so I was so happy to stumble across a dairy free caffeine free WARM drink a few months ago: vanilla soy steamer. Then I found myself wanting to work in coffee shops more because of the steamers and well that's just a big ole waste of money. Enter the milk frother from IKEA - just over $2 and I can have all the frothed vegan nut milk my little heart desires.

7.  Kitchenaid Diamond blender Got it for Christmas and I have used it a couple times a day ever since. Smoothies, creamy soups, shakes - every damn day. So many fruits and veggies being consumed.

Books I Can Highly Recommend:

8.   Your Three Year Old: Friend or Enemy by Louise Bates Ames. If nothing else, the title totally cracks me up. Also the fair warning that 3.5 might rock our world. Such good information to have going into this business.

9.    The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks. Three words: NO UPPER LIMITS. Just read it.

10.   Peaceful Parenting, Happy Kids: How to Stop Yelling and Start Connecting by Laura Markham.  Usually not one to read parenting books per say, but I was curious. It reminded me of many of the classroom management books I have read over the years. Good stuff - mostly about regulating parental behavior.
