Hi Everyone!
With the end of daylight saving this weekend, we will be able to start enjoying light in the mornings again - though only for a short time until winter sets in. Make sure you make the most of the good weather that remains!
Due to low participation numbers in last month's scheduled rides, I only have one ride scheduled for April - a Trail/Path ride on Sat 5th April. We will be exploring Darebin Parklands trail, which last time I checked was quite a delightful ride with lots of nice trees, a babbling brook, and even a few ducks!
Participation Survey
I'm conducting a survey to obtain information so that I can continue to offer rides and sessions that best cater to all of your needs. Please follow this link to participate, and you will be entered in a random prize draw!! *drawn 1st May 2014, winners contacted by email.

Melburn Roobaix - 26th June
The Melburn Roobaix is a fun ride across, through, over and under Melbourne’s bumpiest cobbled alleyways concluding with a lap of the Brunswick outdoor velodrome.
This cycling event is inspired by the famous Paris-Roubaix. Armed with a map, musette and a pen riders cover cobbled sectors from East to West and discover a parts of Melbourne they never knew.
Suitable for any bike type you wish to ride, the 40km route is different each year with 6 hours allowed to complete the course. This is not a race, just a whole lot of fun, and a great social outing!
For more information and to register (open from 11th April), visit http://fyxo.co/melburn-roobaix/
Massage - an essential part of your Cycling Toolkit
As some of you may know, late last year I received my qualification as a Massage Therapist. I am now offering massage therapy from my home in Kew East, and also from Autumn Retreat, 129 Miller Street Thornbury. Visit
www.relaxnrevive.com for more information!
Ride for the Animals
In mid March I participated in Ride for the Animals, raising money for Animal Aid. The ride was from Fulham (near Sale) to Bairnsdale, 90km up some lovely country roads. We had a lovely tailwind all the way so I managed to complete the ride in 3 hours!
There were 47 riders participating, and overall raised $30k for the animal shelters. A great effort for the inaugural event, and a good sign that it will grow into more success in future years. Thanks to all of you who supported me in my fundraising efforts and/or wished me well!
