Every adoption has the potential to profoundly impact an entire community, and bring awakening to the heart of the Church to embrace God’s call to care for the orphan. It is very likely that your own stirring toward adoption or the adoption of a family close to you is why your heart is now aligned with ABBA Fund, and why you are a champion for adoption and orphan care. Rob and Michelle believed they were embarking on a “typical” adoption journey as they applied to be part of ABBA Fund’s Christian Family Adoption Grant Fund in November. Expecting the process to take a couple of years with the occasional fundraiser along the way, they never thought their new baby boy would come in the next few months.

Early one April day, they were asked to prayerfully consider adopting a baby boy being born to a drug-addicted birth mom – and an anticipated two-year timeline suddenly became a two-day timeline!
