Community Partners Highlight - Big Al's Golf

The snow is finally beginning to disappear and it’s time to dust off those golf clubs. The Midland Community Center is pleased to partner with Big Al’s Golf as we have recently offered, free to public, free golf-swing analysis, courtesy of Jim Ankenbrandt of Big Al’s. Big Al’s is also providing MCC with assistance with scoring for MCC’s golf league this year.

5 Diamond Draw

The Midland Community Center’s 5 Diamond Draw is still growing, currently over $17,000!

Join staff at The Creek Grill every Thursday evening to enjoy food and drinks, where the winning ticket is drawn each week. If the winner draws the 5 of Diamonds from the diminishing deck of cards, that person will walk away with 70% of the pot (more than enough to pay for his or her dinner)! If that card is not drawn, that individual will leave with a fabulous consolation prize.

Ticket holders need not be present to win.

Blast from the Past

April 7 – Join us on the first Monday of the month for our Blast from the Dance event. Featuring big band music, visitors can bring a potluck dish to pass at 5:15, or just come to dance, beginning at 6:00.

AARP Tax Aide

Tax help begins Feb 6, with appointments currently available on Thursdays. Qualifying seniors and low income earners can schedule appointments for tax returns by certified AARP tax preparers. Call x 2271 for more information or to schedule your appointment.
