April happenings -- in the kitchen, behind the camera, and an e-course giveaway for you.
Hi there.

Happy Spring! We still have snow on the ground in New England (Winter, you were a brute), but cold days relent and birds return in song. Take that winter, project hibernation is almost over! Plus we have homemade apple cider vinegar (yes, it worked—see March's newsletter for the recipes) for our efforts of staying out of the cold.

On the cooking front, I'm teaching a new round of spring classes at Different Drummer's Kitchen, coming in April: Weeknight Vegan/Vegetarian Express and Spring Holiday Baking and Candy Making (Vegan); May: Vegan Sweet and Savory Crepes, June: Vegan Vietnamese; and July: Canning Workshop with Jellies and Jams. I'm also doing a cooking demo at the Worcester Veg Fest this Sunday, April 6th so come by if you're in the area!

For those who signed up for the first round of my 31 day photo e-course, THANK YOU! I participated in the class last month along with some talented folks and had an incredible time. I noticed how working in a group setting keeps me honest about sticking to my personal photo projects and now I'm onto creating part two of Develop Your Photo Habit & Style.

As a special thanks for being here, I'm going to give away another spot in the course. This month, instead of randomly choosing a winner, I'll give one to the first subscriber to respond with an email saying I'm in (or something to that effect). If you've been thinking about joining the class, spring is a great time to jump start your creative habit.

I'm off to get the little one to sleep.

Cheers to spring,

Nikki
