From: Born and raised in North Vancouver!
Work: I wear many different hats! I work for West Coast Beauty Inside Sales, I just started my own Media Company in January called MK Social, and I also work for Recruiting Social! Apparently I don't like to just do one thing!
Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: When my boss Chad approached the team about Jump for Joy, I was so excited! I think Jump for Joy brings out the kid in all of us, and I think we all need to bring that feeling back in us.
Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A: Working with Eyoälha was so much fun, her energy radiates to everyone she works with! I felt free, and I was laughing a TON. I think everyone should do the Jump for Joy photos! It is so liberating and brings out your inner child!
Q: What inspires you in life?
A: The people around me. I try to surround myself with people who will lift me higher and help me achieve my goals. My boss once told me: “You become like the 5 people you spend the most time with, choose wisely.” This has stuck with me.
Q: Your greatest passion?
A: This is a hard one! I guess it would be working towards being a better person every day! I love making people laugh, and being there for everyone. Enjoy every day, and learn something from every person you meet.
Q: Your driving force?
A: My family for sure. They are my rock. My cousins are a huge driving force for me – always believing in my crazy dreams and goals and never telling me they are unrealistic! I have 21 first cousins, and we are all super close. I know I can go to them whenever I need that extra push in life or when I am feeling down, they are always right there to pick me back up!
Q: Philosophy?
A: I try to live a life that my grandparents would be proud of. My grandmother always taught me to live my life uncensored and to always be myself. I think if you are a nice person, and pay it forward – you will go far. I think that is all any of us can hope for! I can't go back to yesterday, I can't predict the future so I am reminded to live in the present moment.
Q: Anything in the world?
A: I have always wanted to be a designer. I am a very creative person, and I love making things beautiful! Right now, I am working towards designing websites and turning peoples ideas into a reality. I think it would be really cool to design shoes! I've tried to sketch them before – it was a total disaster though! I might have to leave that one for my next life!
Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I have always been a social butterfly! Growing up in such a large family, it amazes me how different we all are. I am the crazy, loud one who usually gets in trouble for how loud I laugh at every family dinner! I was the girl in school who always got in trouble for always talking too much! One time when I went to the doctor, he had to put a Band-Aid over my mouth while my mom was talking. When I was a kid, I would hear “Zip it up Kaela” ALL the time! I guess this has now helped me in Sales and Marketing! I am outgoing, I love meeting new people and going on new adventures.
