On February 11, 2014, HUD published CPD Notice 2014-02, Closeout Instructions for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Programs Grants. The notice included instructions for the closeout of Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) 1, 2, and 3 grants and describes closeout criteria; the steps HUD and a grantee will take in the closeout process; and specific issues related to program income, the 25 percent set-aside requirement, land banks, loan loss reserves, and record retention.
On April 22nd from 2:00 – 4:00 PM EDT, HUD will host the second webinar in a three-part series designed to assist grantees in understanding the closeout instructions. This webinar is for NSP 1, 2, and 3 grantees and will cover the closeout criteria in more detail while providing guidance to grantees on how they can start preparing for closeout by reviewing the status of activities, DRGR reporting, and internal records. Time will be made for questions and answers.
This webinar is designed for NSP grantees, staff, and partners.
Please join us on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2 PM EDT.
Webinar materials will be posted to the OneCPD Training & Events page, as they become available.
