Baptism Class

Water baptism not only identifies you as a follower of Christ, it is also an act of obedience. To find out more about about baptism or to get baptised at the services on the 24/25 May weekend, please join in a 2-hour class this Sunday 27 Apr from 2 to 4pm in the SubiKids Room 1. Contact Pastor Max Graieg (max.graieg@subiacochurch.com) to indicate your interest in attending this class and to obtain a Baptism Booklet.

The Parenting Children Course

The inaugural Parenting Children course is a 5-week course for any parent with children up to the age of 10 desiring to improve their parenting skills. It is highly practical and aims to provide parents with the tools for the areas in which they often find they need support. The course is based on Christian principles, but is relevant and helpful for any parent regardless of faith or background. Cost is $10 per participant and commences on Tuesday 29 Apr from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the Church Cafe. For more information or to register, contact Max Graieg (max.graieg@subiacochurch.com).

Koinonia Heartware - Growing Individually, Growing Community

"The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart". Koinonia's first teaching series looks at skills essential for healthy emotional living. This includes our ability to handle change, manage ourselves, communicate with others and understanding different personalities. These skills are applicable in your personal, family, work and ministry life.
Catered towards young professionals, this series will run every Wednesday in May starting 7 May at 7pm in the auditorium. The cost for all the sessions is $60 or $20 for each session at the door. Places are limited so sign up today! Registrations are necessary and will close on Sun 4 May at 8pm. Register now at the Subi Koinonia Facebook page or on koinonia.org.au.

State Youth Games

Player registrations close at 5pm this Sunday 27 Apr! Team Subi wants YOU at SYG 2014! Join us from Friday 30 May to Monday 2 Jun (WA Day Long Weekend) for a weekend of sports and not so sporty events, meeting new people and reconnecting with old friends. Whether soccer, Scrabble, or squash, there is an event for you in a weekend of community and competition.
Register and pay online at http://central.sygwa.com.au/team/GIDWA, or pick up a form to complete in the foyer. Got questions? Contact Ernest Chua (emtchua@gmail.com) or Matt Bonus (matt.bonus@gmail.com). Hurry, registrations close at 5pm on this Sunday 27 Apr!

State Youth Games Volunteers

Are you over 28, have a heart to serve and want to influence over 900 youth and youth adults? State Youth Games needs volunteers score, umpire and time keep, and to help cook for the team. If you can see and count, you qualify! Team Subi requires at least 10 people who are willing to serve and be a great influence over the weekend. In a church our size, it is easy to think that someone else can do it, but is this a way you can serve and be an influence to so many lives? Adult volunteer registrations close on Sunday 4 Apr. Contact Ernest Chua (emtchua@gmail.com) or Matt Bonus (matt.bonus@gmail.com) for more details and to volunteer!
