Dear Moms and Dads
Welcome back after the Easter weekend. We trust that you all had a super time with family and friends. Well done to all those who took part in the Two Oceans half and full marathon. What a weekend!!!!!!

The next few weeks will be rather disruptive again I’m afraid. Please take careful note of the closing times of the school. Our Aftercare will be closed on the 3 school holidays that the WCED give us linked to the public holidays of, Freedom Day and Workers day. This happens each year, but appears more disruptive this year unfortunately.

Kate (Lily-Rose’s mom ) in the Shark class is happy to look after 1 or 2 little girls who need holiday care on those days. Please contact her on : 0747477776

PUBLIC AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AHEAD

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WHOLE SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED ON MON28 APRIL UNTIL MON 5TH MAY. THIS IS DUE TO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND OFFICIAL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. NO AFTER-CARE! (OPEN ON MON 5TH MAY)

MOTHER’S Day at FHPPS
(Friday 9th May 8am-12.30pm)

Each year around the official Mother’s Day celebrations, we at FHPPS have our own Mother’s Day at school. We invite all our moms to come to school for the morning or part of the morning to enjoy some fun activities with their children. You are invited to join in with the morning ring and art activities. The children will do a little sing song for all of you at 10am. This will be followed by some tea and cake. The school will provide the cake so you mommies just need to come and relax for the morning. Most important!!!! If you are not able to come, please see if there is an aunty or a friend who could come for part of the morning to be with your child.
Decibels of Love
A support group for parents with deaf or hard of hearing children will be having their first meeting here at FHPPS this Saturday morning at 10am. All are welcome. RSVP-info@decibelsoflove.com

Hope you all had a wonderful, restful long Easter weekend.  Our scholastic theme for the following two weeks is “Shapes” and our EQ theme is “Being a really good friend”.  Please chat to your children about what it means to be a good friend and the qualities of a good friend.  If they have any books or games to do with “Shapes”, please encourage them to bring them to school.  This term dates for “Home visits” are up on the notice board, so please have a look.  Many of your children are asking when I am going to visit and I don’t want to disappoint them, so please chat to me. Please remember next week FHPPS is closed due to public and school holidays, including the Stay and Play.  Thank you Colleen and Rita

It is cut up and shared amongst the class just before story time!
