Cancer Is Cold

According To Chinese Medicine

Dear Friend

Dr. Chang has thousands of practical cases where serious diseases were totally cured with the combination of the Acupressure massage and consumption of Ginger tea and Yang (warm) foods. In his clinic in Taiwan he is healing people with every disease imaginable including cancer. Most people’s bodies are extremely yin (cool/cold) today. And most people with chronic illnesses (especially cancer), their body is too Yin (cold) from a yin and yang Chinese Medicine balance perspective.  It also means that the best results of healing will often occur with the use of more yang therapies, diets and healing methods.

In sum, then, by assigning a food a value as hot or cold, we mean that a heating food has the capacity to increase the metabolism of the body (whatever they may be). Conversely, a cold food slows down metabolism. We recognize that it is the body itself that must perform the final healing, and we try to assist the body as much as possible in these endeavors. These facts can be discerned in terms of the results observed after taking in the foods, sometimes immediately, at other times over a period of time. If we had a thermometer that was measured in billionths of degrees instead of tenths, we could actually see the body temperature rise after eating a preponderance of hot foods. This idea is perfectly in accord with the laws of physics, which state that an increase in atomic velocity causes an increase in temperature.

When a person is sick the very first thing we do is take the temperature. Let us also assume that the patient's temperature is 97.6° Fahrenheit. Most people know that the "average" body temperature in healthy adults is given as 98.6° (37º Celsius).

We may assume that 98.6° is the actual optimum temperature for healthy functioning of the body. Lesser or higher temperatures are signs that the metabolism is disordered. So, if the reading was 96.6º, it would mean that the person's temperature was two degrees below the normal average

So what? We realize that life is carried on within rather narrow limits of temperature--95° to 105°, that if the temperature goes outside those limits for any extended time, life will end.

Therefore, a temperature two degrees below normal means one that is two degrees deficient within the ten degrees that sustains life--or that the body is operating at 20 percent lowered efficiency. If you tried to operate any machine with 20 percent of its power source gone, the other parts would become stressed and overheated, and the machine would break down and wear out much sooner than if it were operating at 100 percent of its energy levels.

This example holds true for the body. The process of heating is undermined when the "heat" (called innate heat, or vital power) of the digestive process is lowered in proper intensity. What happens is that many of the foods eaten are not fully broken down into the smallest nutrient components, and this places a great strain upon the body to deal with incompletely digested foods.  The thermal function of the body is admitted by Western biologists to be situated in the liver. It is true that other glands and substances may have ancillary effects on thermal maintenance of the body. But without the liver, no one can survive for even a short period.

The only correct treatment of diseases is to assist the natural functions of the body. Infants and children prove these concepts perfectly. First, the average body temperature of an infant is said to be about 99.0°. This higher metabolic rate is necessary to effectively process down all of the unusual amounts of by-products that result from the child's great and rapid growth. Moreover, infants and small children exhibit vomiting, nosebleeds, diarrhea, fevers, sweating, and frequent urination--precisely the forms of healing crisis according to Unani.

CHINESE MEDICINE REMEDY – HOW DOES IT WORK?

YANG FOODS – Eat as much as possible foods that fall in the Hot, Warm or Neutral zone (see Yin/Yang Food Chart).  If a person has advanced cancer and very weak eat only the Hot and Warm foods as per the FOOD CHART (see below). For the very weak and advanced cases drink 2 cups of ginseng tea to start off with for at least 7 days, and then switch to the Ginger root tea. To make the Ginseng tea, bring 2 ¼ cups of water to a boil, add 50 grams of fresh oriental ginseng (do not use any other type of ginseng except Oriental/Asian).  Turn of the heat and let steep for 10 to 15 minutes, strain and drink the Ginseng tea.

FIRST you must do an acupressure points for 1 – 2 minutes behind the ear and the back of the head. The pressure you exert must not be too light or else there is no beneficial effect. Press hard using your knuckle(s) to the level of pain that the patient is able to bear. It's best to have someone do it to the patient, but with practice the patient can do it to him/herself. If you have a bean bag or hot water bottle that is nice and warm you could put that on after the quick massage to generate more heat in that area for a few minutes. After the massage consume a Ginger root tea.

Dr Chang warns his patients NOT consume the Ginger root tea until you first do the ‘acupressure’ points on the head for at least 1 minute. Otherwise you will experience excessive thirst, very dry mouth and lips, which are all signs the body is ‘internally cold’ according to Chinese Medicine. This is exactly the opposite of what you want because cancer is a ‘cold’ illness according to Chinese Medicine. With a little practice you can reach back and massage these key points behind the ears and the back of the head, or better still have someone press the key point for you two or three times throughout the day before consuming the Ginger root tea.

NOTE: The Ginger Tea helps patients release pain, bleeding and promotes healing of the body. The theory is pain and bleeding came from blood vessels narrowed due to contraction because of body loses heat and turns cold, it’s just like an engine, it needs heat to start the motor and once warmth is applied, tension is released, blood vessel go back to normal. Pain and bleeding are released.

Wrap the patient up in a warm blanket and add hot water bottle to really keep warm in the inside and outside.  The Therapeutic Healing Blanket (available at www.BudwigCenter.com) is perfect for creating this heat.  During the day or when going outside be sure to dress extra warm.  The body can only heal with its internally and externally warm.  Avoid as much as possible foods that are considered cold or cool, eat mostly the Neutral, Warm and Hot foods (see Food Chart).  If you do eat some cool or cold foods be sure to take 3 capsules of Ginger root and/or 1 or 2 capsules of Cayenne pepper to create more heat.

Eggs and dairy products are yang, because these are animal-derived, they tend to be more yang foods.  Eggs are among the most yang foods available as they nourish a young life that starts out very yang. Some have an intolerance to eggs but not so if they consume them raw.  This is really the ideal way to consume eggs.  Use only organic free range eggs, wash the shell, put some hydrogen peroxide 3% on the shell to kill any bacteria (that is where manure could contaminate the egg) and dry it carefully then break into a glass.  Smell it to make sure it’s fresh and then add to some water, tea (i.e ginger, Jasmine, burdock, dandelion, milk thistle, skullcap, nettles teas) and drink it down.  You won’t even taste the egg!

CHINESE MEDICINE – DR. CHANG’S ORIGINAL POINT THERAPY (OPT)

In the class, a young girl share her experience in OPT. Few years ago, she fell down from 1st floor with both legs landed on the ground. Ever since then, she has lots of health problems, like asthma, leg cramp, insomnia etc. However she didn’t know all these discomforts are due to her fall. Till one day her friend told her that your symptoms, probably is due to problems with nerves.’ Then she visited 3 chiropractors. She spent money to do MRI, however cannot detect any things wrong. However the x ray shown that few bones in her backbones/ spine has been dislocated. The injury to the “muscle’ is the root cause.  She realized that the last chiropractor’s method stretching exercises is very similar to Dr Chang’s OPT (Original Point therapy). She felt great relieve after learning OPT. Actually the founder for OPT also started to study OPT due to losing his beloved wife due to cancer.

YIN and YANG FOOD CHART

NOTE: None of these are recommended if you have a chronic illness

All fruit, fruit juice, salads and leafy green juices are too cold. Add ginger, garlic, curry, onions, mustard, cayenne (chilli) to your cooked vegetables and all your meals to create more internal heat.  Take cayenne capsules and the ginger capsules with each meal.  Even if at times you eat some cool or cold foods by taking the cayenne and ginger capsules this will help offset the cool.

Note: for all types of illnesses you will need to eat foods found mostly in the Neutral, Warm and Hot zones.   For the weak and advanced cases of any illness only eat foods found in the Warm and Hot zones as these are the most Yang.

Among healing methods, the most yang are those involving heat and dryness.  Dry Infrared saunas, hyperthermia, fever therapy, sweating, heating herbs like ginger and burdock, coffee enemas, hot baths, exposure to the sun, Far Infrared heat lamps (do not use regular infrared lamps ….only use FAR Infrared lamps) and 1 day fasting are examples. Other are chiropractic manipulation, biofeedback, acupuncture, acupressure, some psychotherapy such as ‘Tapping’ or also called EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and some color therapy with reddish, orange or yellow light. At the BUDWIG CENTER you will benefit from Hyperthermia, the Therapeutic Healing blanket and sauna therapy as well as Red light therapy which assists the first chakra and organs such as the liver, kidneys and adrenal glands.  We recommend herbs that are more yang, such as ginger, burdock, dandelion, milk thistle, skullcap, nettles and black radish.

This is exactly what most people need.  Since most bodies today are yin, most illness has a yin cause at its basis.  The symptom may appear yang - hot, hard or contracted. However, the underlying cause is usually a yin imbalance which is why this YANG approach works for almost all illnesses. As more people become yin, they require more yang therapies.  This is one reason for more and more problems occurring with antibiotic overuse and vegetarian diets – both of which are more yin.

There is not only a problem with traditional Western medicine but also a problem with some natural therapies.  For example, a friend is a cancer counsellor who has observed the results of many alternative cancer therapies.  She reports poorer results with the Gerson therapy and related approaches that rely on raw foods and juices.  This therapy used to offer excellent results.  Most likely, this is because more bodies were more yang at the time Dr. Gerson developed the therapy in the 1920s and 1930s.  Yin therapy may get rid of tumors which are yang, but cannot fully rebuild a body that is more yin as does Dr Chang’s approach which is producing outstanding results working on providing a YANG approach. Clinics and anti-cancer programs that concentrate on juices and foods that are mostly Yin will only achieve limited success with cancer.  The Budwig Center encourages warm soups or juices (vegetables are best steam cooked slightly and then cooled down before making vegetable juice) made from the Yang vegetable groups will achieve better results.  The Dr. Chang remedy will be enhanced by using the RIFE TIME machine, FAR Infrared saunas, Therapeutic Healing Blanket, Dr. Budwig program, the Mini-trampoline, TRICAN, etc., on a daily basis.

The full Dr. Chang Ginger root and Acupressure point remedy is part of the BUDWIG CENTER program and the full instructions along with video explanations are included in all our HOME DISTANCE and CLINICAL programs.
