Once again it has been a very busy month at O'Brien Guitars with four students building their own guitars in the O'Brien Guitar's workshop in the past four weeks!
On Monday I just finished a two person 8 day steel string guitar building class with a student from Texas and the other from Washington State. Their guitars turned out very nice!
In addition, the latest issue of American Lutherie Magazine from the Guild of American Luthiers did an interview with me. You can read it in the Spring issue of the magazine. I also made a video of the interview. It is four parts. The video link below is to part I of the interview and you can follow the links in the videos to Parts 2, 3 and 4.
Recently while in Brazil I made a video of Brazilian guitarist and composer. Euclides Marques, playing La Catedral on one of my guitars. This beautiful piece has become a standard in the classical guitar repertoire. Euclides shows some fine technique as he plays this piece by Agustin Bárrios.
