New Hope Community Support Campaign Update
With much excitement we launched our first Community Support Campaign on March 31st and our victory celebration will be on May 5th. We are so grateful to our Campaign Chairman, Mick Ukleja, and our thirty-two volunteer Campaigners who have been working hard to share the New Hope story in the community and asking others to join them in supporting our mission with a pledge of support.  We set out with a goal of $50,000 and to-date we have raised $28,557 which is 57% of our goal.  Together we’ve been planting seeds of kindness, watching them grow, and now reaping the harvest. Although we are making good progress, we could use your help.  To learn how you partner with us in making a pledge of support please contact our Campaign Director, David Leonard, at (562) 429-0075 ext. 4 or davidl@newhopegrief.org.  You can also learn more by clicking here
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month!
At New Hope no one is more cherished than someone who takes the time to lighten the burden of another human being.

The work New Hope is able to accomplish in one year is absolutely nothing short of a miracle.  These miracles are only possible because of the caring, compassionate, and wonderful volunteers that serve and give their time, treasure, touch, and talent to New Hope and the families we serve.

We are a staff of only 3 full-time employees; fortunately, we have over 200 volunteers who will give over 5,000 hours which exceeds $95,000 in donated labor.  New Hope is truly a labor of love.

A Special Thanks to all of our dedicated Volunteers—we love and appreciate YOU!
Last month we headed up the mountain to beautiful Idyllwild, CA to Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.  We hosted our Spring Family Camp which is made possible to us by the Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation, we are most grateful for their support.  We served 8 families consisting of 39 campers who were cared for by 19 of our wonderful volunteers.
