Play Group Easter Egg Hunt
The Underwood Hills Play Group will host the annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19 at 4PM in Underwood Hills Park. All are welcome. If your family will be participating, please drop off two dozen filled eggs per child to Stefanie Ballard's house at 1738 Ridgeway by the morning of the event. Label with the age group: 0-2 or 3 & up. For ages 0-2, we suggest raisins, cheerios, stickers, goldfish and other similar items (no choking hazards). For 3 & up, candy, stickers, little trinkets or healthier snacks are all great. Please also bring a side dish to share for the event.
Stephanie will be collecting annual play group dues of $20 per family during the Easter Egg Hunt.
Defoor Station Development
A Land Disturbance Permit has been filed for Defoor Station, the multifamily community planned for the large wooded property along Defoor Ave., north of Davis Circle. The permit was filed by Tabas II LLP, the Ashkouti family's entity for this development. To date, the city has not approved the permit. Once it is approved, they can begin clearing and moving dirt to get the site ready for construction. We do not have a construction schedule yet, but it is their intention to get out of the ground this summer. We will keep you informed as things progress.
