P532 Ultra-Low Pressure Transmitter

Validyne’s P532 Pressure Transmitters are ideally suited for measuring extremely low liquid and gas pressures in industrial applications. Full-scale differential pressure ranges from 0.10" H2O to 2" H2O with line pressure rating of 100 psig and ranges of 2" H2O to 3200 psid with line pressures up to 3200 psig are offered. Gauge pressure ranges start at 0.10" H2O and absolute pressure from 0.08 psia full-scale. This unique design, which utilizes a diaphragm-type variable reluctance pressure sensor, provides many outstanding advantages.

The PS57 is a combination power supply and 4 1/2 digit LED display for the P55/P855 family of pressure transducers and transmitters. The PS57 accepts 110 VAC power and provides the required 24 VDC excitation for the transducer. The transducer signal is received and displayed directly in engineering units with bright 0.56" high red LEDs. The user can re-scale the display and set the decimal point by configuring internal jumpers. The analog output of the transducer, ± 5 VDC or 4-20 mA, is available on rear-panel terminals.

Digital displays are specified as being either 3-1/2 digits or 4-1/2 digits. In a 3-1/2 digit display, the three rightmost digits may read any value between 1 and 9. The left-most digit is limited to 1 or a blank. It is often easier to think in terms of counts: a 3-1/2 digit display can read up to 1999 counts, so it is suitable for displaying readings that have a maximum value of 20, 200 or 2000. Note that the decimal point may be placed within the right most three digits: 19.99, 199.9 or 1999 -Read More..>
