Farm partners wanted to learn to operate Colorado's oldest organic orchard and farm!, est. 1974. We are looking for veggie farmers, fruit farmers, CSA Coordinator or will train.

Great site for a farm-based ecovillage! Natural building workshop coordinator and online marketing specialist needed for part time work exchange.

In a good year, we grow 100 tons of fruit. We also grow tons of tomatoes, squash, greens and more! We'll train and help with business planning and whatever is needed to get this farm in the best of hands!

Great opportunity!  Learn how to farm 4 acres of veggies, 11 acres of orchard, 5 acre pasture on 1/2 mile of river - cleanest in the state.  Senior water first on the ditch system in the North Fork Valley near Aspen and Crested Butt.

Farm Apprenticeships & Education Apprenticeships

The Fairview Gardens Apprenticeship program provides a hands-on direct experience in organic farming, sustainable food systems, and agricultural education. You will work alongside our farming and marketing staff, engaging in all activities essential to the operation of an organic and public education farm. Duties include planting, propagation, weeding, irrigating, farm clean up, animal maintenance and harvesting. In addition you are asked to devote one weekend per month to work a farmers market and gain an understanding of the sales part of farming. Apprentices work as a close team to develop an introductory understanding of organic farming as well as an understanding of the broader food systems in which farming is embedded. Topics covered include marketing, harvesting, caring for farm animals, plant ecology, soil systems, integrated pest management, food systems, farm finance, and farmers markets. Yurt housing and stipend provided.

We are looking for a motivated  individual to work farmers markets this summer into late fall. Our little farm is located in Santa Cruz, we grow primarily tomatoes and peppers. The markets are on Saturday and Sunday in the bay area, we provide a vehicle. Compensation is based on prior experience and job performance.
