Kozmo vs Urbanfetch Part Deux?  Uber this week announced plans to enter the increasingly crowded same-day delivery space. So far, Spark Capital-backed Postmates has trended well in the App Store while Google's app has ranked ahead of AmazonFresh and eBay Now. See the mobile app data on same-day delivery services.

Momentum around venture investing in the real estate tech space appears to be hitting a fever pitch as Q4 2013 saw a five-year quarterly high in deal activity.

For largest VC-backed tech exits, it takes over six years. We broke down the top 100 U.S. VC-backed tech exits by the time between their first financing round and their IPO or M&A exit. Interestingly, there is no discernible difference between the time to exit between consumer and enterprise companies.

The venture capital funnel. 4% of companies have unicorn potential.  75% die or are orphaned along the way.  If you're going to raise VC, you should look at this data to know what lies ahead.
