flatev had the opportunity to present at the International Home & Housewares Show and caught the eye of some major appliance manufacturers, like Jarden and Hamilton Beach. It was also a great chance to meet with fans of flatev and future distributors and be one of the 20 companies (out of more than 2000) invited to the VIP media event for innovative products! We also tested our tortillas against the best handmade tortillas in Chicago at La Casa de Samuel. The restaurant hosted a tortilla battle in which flatev was crowned for its accomplishments in taste, variety, and convenience.

In respite of our travels, flatev was able to sit down and have a lovely dinner with the former President of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, and the former first lady, Margarita Zavala. They loved our tortillas and were excited about the future of flatev!

We love LA. The people know their traditional tacos and tortillas like nowhere else. Still, they love invention and flatev gave it to them: Bacon Tortillas. We brought the bacon to the Taco Madness festival put on by L.A. Taco to show off our newest creation. The bacon tortilla with peanut butter made for an insatiable dessert experience (The cinnamon tortillas were great, too!). Want to see some happy customers? Check out our pictures of the event.

flatev is headed to New York! For the month of May, flatev will make its home in the Big Apple. The event Zurich meets New York will take place on the 21st and we are excited to be a part of it.
