Pray for Peace TODAY!

A simultaneous prayer for peace was held today in churches all across Syria. Their hope? That people across the world would join them in kindling the candle of peace by praying together. Syrian Multimedia Youth Team member Milad Alkaed (pictured) is studying to be a doctor and wants the world to join the prayer for peace. Even though the group prayer was at 10 a.m. CST, you can still join Milad:  "We are sowing seeds of hope to achieve the impossible, using peace as a strategic option to stop the promotion and funding of war," he says. Take a moment to pray now. It's never too late. Click here for more information.

South Central Partnership Dinner, April 24

Every year a new location -- this year the South Central Partnership Dinner will be hosted at the Warren County Historical Museum  in Indianola on Thursday, April 24. Admission of $10 per person gets you dinner and a tour of the museum following the meal. Arrive at 5:30 p.m. if you'd like to check out the buildings on the grounds; 6 p.m. for hors d'oeuvres; and 6:30 p.m. for dinner followed by the tour. Deadline for reservations is Monday, April 21 to your local church. Churches should call Trinity United Presbyterian Church on April 21 and 22 with number of attendees.
