4" Saturday, then 5" overnight.  Sunny skies and NO WIND today.

 Sunday April 13, 2014
Retro-Day:   Employees were issued these cool Demetre sweaters when I was a ski lift operator at The Happy Jack Ski Area near Laramie, Wyoming in 1972

Snow Report 4.13.2014

It just keeps snowing!  About 4" Saturday.  Another 5" overnight.  Dry light powder snow on top of a 4 to 5 foot base.

Quite cool this morning, but we expect a mostly sunny, windless day.  That mid-April sun will make you feel warm quite quickly. Good Luck and Mount Belmont chairlifts 10am-5pm.  WildWest 11am-4pm.  Over 100 trails on 15oo acres today.  Snowcats smoothed out about 40 trails.

Our upper mountain is 3,000' higher than downtown, so our weather is dramatically different.  Four to five foot base depths are still common, so conditions are terrific all over the mountain.

Today (our 1ooth day of this ski season) is our annual RETRO-DAY,  bring your straight skis.  Wear those far-out fashions from the 70's, one piece suits from the 80's, or 90's neons......You saved that stuff because you thought it was coming back....IT'S NOT!....But a least you get to wear it one more time.

Prizes for the most fun equipment and apparel.

Six Terrain Parks  with 60 fun features.  The Four-0-Six Four-Park Jackpot is Sunday afternoon.  A fun low-key event with lots of prizes.

Now that it's April,  we only operate on weekends; Saturday and Sunday.  Remaining cool this week and more snow too, so conditions should remain good for next Saturday and Sunday.  On Easter Sunday, we'll have thousands of candy eggs all over the lower mountain for the kids to find.

Our  Season Pass Sale is now open with the lowest rates available.  If you do not currently have a Season Pass,  Get one  now and start using it right away all the way through April of 2015.  That's more than 120 days of skiing available to you.  These early- buy rates let you break-even in less than 10 days of skiing.

Current Pass Holders can wait to get their new Pass at the same low rate.  Spring rate good until May 31st.

Great Divide usually offers Montana's longest ski season.  We almost always open 1st.  We keep going as long as possible, often into late April and occasionally into May.

1st 500 to get their Pass Picture taken will get a FREE Tropical Tangerine GD Tee.
