Happy Spring Everyone!
While it’s cliché to say it’s a time of new beginnings, this spring has brought new developments and interesting events my way that I’m excited to share with you. In personal news, I’m thrilled to have joined
Shapeways, a 3D printing marketplace and community, as the Community Outreach Coordinator. I’m looking forward to working with creatives to help use 3D printing to realize their vision and entrepreneurial goals. If you’d like to learn more, we are hosting a
meetup at the Museum of Art and Design on Friday, April 18 from 6 to 8 pm.
Coming up this weekend is the second iteration of the
Brooklyn Creative Business + Tech Hack Lab, a meetup and skill share that connects creatives, entrepreneurs, designers and developers. The following weekend I’ll be presenting on running a successful crowd funding campaign at the
Makers, Musicians & Artists Forum in the Catskills, and then debuting a new issue of my zine at the
Brooklyn Zine Fest.
I was recently featured discussing how I developed Grow and the book's big ideas on BreakThruRadio TV. These short episodes are full of entrepreneurial inspiration and you can catch all six on the
Grow blog.
I’d love to see you at any of these events and hope spring is bringing new energy to your creative projects.
