Are You Doing Your Personal Best?

Several weeks ago I made a list of 10 fun things I would like to do. Many of them involve travel but one of the things on my list was to run in a 5K event. One of my friends mentioned they did not know I liked to run. I said "I don't but I just like the idea of spending time with my daughter and the feeling of accomplishment". I started by running for a minute and walking for a minute for 1 mile and then increased the time of running over the next 6 weeks. I was just hoping to finish the race a couple of weeks ago along with the other 500+ people that were there to support the cause. I was advised by my daughters to "just do my personal best" and not worry about the other racers. The weather was beautiful that day. Much to my surprise when I went to check my time at the end of the race, not only did I run the fastest time ever, but I won 3rd place in my division. When you think about selling on eBay or in everything you do focus on what you want to achieve and not on those around you That is doing your personal best. Increase a few more auctions this week or month, pull out your treasures you have had on your shelf and get them listed. The month of May has always been a very busy month in the Smith Family. Our three daughters will be celebrating their birthdays this month and so will our granddaughter Ellie. Besides the birthday celebrations we have a few end of school events to attend. We hope you have a great month and we always love to hear what your family is doing!
