Do you live or work in the Historic Core?

In order to better understand the residents, businesses, and property owners in the Historic Core, we're launching our 2014 Survey, a demographic study to learn more about who lives here and the growing needs of our community.

Please help our neighborhood by taking the survey and sharing it with your friends, co-workers, and anyone else who spends time in the Historic Core.  As a thank you for taking the time to complete the short survey, you'll be entered to win prizes from local businesses.

Once the surveying is complete, we'll compile the results and share them here and on our website.

If you have any questions or feedback about the survey, please contact info@historicbid.com.

Broadway Sign District - Your Input is Needed!

The Broadway Sign District  is a proposed ordinance currently in draft form that looks to promote the continuing contribution of historically fitting signage to the look and feel of Broadway, provide economic incentives for the rehabilitation and reactivation of Broadway’s buildings, as well as control the blight created by poorly placed, badly designed signs along Broadway.

Councilmember José Huizar is hosting an event requesting public input on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  Informal discussion starts at 6PM with presentations starting at 7PM.  Please attend and provide your feedback!
