Free the Oppressed

Sowing Principles and Values

We inaugurated Mission Character in the three Military Academies of the Honduran Armed Forces so that by the end of this year 147 cadets will graduate from the Air Force, Navy and Army having finished this highly effective character transformation program. We are grateful for this opportunity to help transform a nation!

Clockwise from top left: 1. Reverend Jimmy Hughes speaks to the Air Force Academy cadets during the inauguration. 2. The cadets check out their Mission Character books for the first time. 3. Cadets from the Army sing Honduras' national anthem and then 4. They sit for Rev. Jimmy Hughes' inaugural speech.

Water Baptism

Ten of our Door of Hope Rehab program residents were baptized this month. Pastor Juan and Franklyn from our staff baptized them in a nearby waterfall in Zambrano.

Team Building for Cell Phone Service Provider

We were thrilled to do a Team Building event for over 70 sales executives from CLARO, a cell phone service provider in the nation. This is a company that truly exercises excellence and hard work in everything they do. We are confident that the participants took with them a treasure of experiences that are already helping them accomplish their goals as a team. We are grateful to be able to help transform the nation!

Happy Father's Day!

All of the dads in our ministry enjoyed a morning of laughter and even tears as our kids honored them for Father's Day. One of the highlights was a video presentation of all the children thanking Rev. Jimmy Hughes for being a father to them.

Faith Academy's First Merit Bank this Year

We reward our children's exercise of Christlike character traits every bimester. This month our little students from Pre-K had a blast during their first Merit Bank ever. They were well behaved, patient and even very smart with the "purchases" they made with their merits. Our big ones did well too, especially Yuli who gave all of her hard earned merits to Zenia in a true act of generosity.

Door of Hope Rehab Graduates

Door of Hope Rehab Center continues to be a place of refuge and restoration for men and women who are seeking freedom and a renewal of their minds through the exposure to the Word of God. José Antonio, next to Pastor Salvador, completed his 6 month initial phase of his process.
