Is there a difference between buying a plastic bag of spinach grown and processed who-knows-where and buying fresh spinach grown near your home?  Here in the Gallatin Valley, your fresh spinach could be grown by Matt and Jacy, on their farm, Gallatin Valley Botanical.  It's more fresh, more delicious, hasn't been processed and trucked long distances, and your money goes to real-live farmers, and businesses like Market Day Foods and the Co-Op, that help get their produce to market.  Trading even a small portion of your food dollars with these "neighborhood farmers" helps them take care of fertile land and grow healthy, fresh food.  Hooray for the farmers!
