It's May already! And for those who don't know, it was Star Wars Day a couple of days ago... forgot to send newsletter... whoops! And if you are not a Star Wars fan, it's the beginning of summer, woohoo!

It's a quiet month for our workshops and whatnot, with all those bank holidays, most people want to take advantage of that and take a vacation. But there are plenty of other events happening around town (and outside).

I do have a special shout out of an inaugural event from our friends at Made It on "How to build an App" on Thu May 22nd at Twisted Pepper.

Made It is a series of talks coming to the capital this summer that brings together some of Dublin’s most interesting ‘makers and doers’ and aims to demystify the process of creating a successful project. Each talk is themed and will host experienced speakers sharing how projects go from just an idea to the end-product.

The first month's theme is "How to Build an App." We have some incredible speakers lined up, including the guys from the Lonely Beast app ( No 1 in the app store in 10 countries), the CTO of Web Summit and the Developer and Platform Group Lead from Microsoft Ireland.

Tickets are €10 and available here for the first event.

The Functional Programming Series will kick off in July, just nailing down the date for our first workshop with a special guest from UK. So keep an eye out on our Facebook Page and Twitter. :-)

If you have questions/suggestions, feel free to email me at info@codinggrace.com.

Thanks,
